INCENTIVE/FIT: (HEAVY SPOILERS) In an attempt to make peace with a man named Drago who's in the midst of putting together a dragon army, Hiccup's father, Stoick, sacrifices himself to save Hiccup's life. The event strikes Hiccup heavily, filled with regret and conflict because he never thought himself to have been the son his father wanted him to be ( "I was so afraid of becoming my dad. Mostly because I thought I never could. How do you become someone that great? That brave? That selfless?" ). Upon coming to Eudio, Hiccup wants to be able to find a way to revive Stoick or prevent his death, still filled with guilt that his selfishness in recklessly disobeying him brought about his death.

While slightly awkward and clumsy in his presence, Hiccup can be very affectionate. At this point, he has a girlfriend, Astrid, whom he's very comfortable with kissing and providing casual touches. Despite the lack of Astrid's presence, his incentive is strong enough for him to be willing to be physically close to someone else to achieve it.

ANYTHING ELSE? Hiccup wouldn't come without his dragon, Toothless, who almost always remains at his side. Of the Night Fury class, the only dragon of his kind, Toothless is rather large and can be fairly powerful, with plasma blasts that can have drastic effects on someone if used in close range. However, despite his power, he's very loving and playful, like a large cat and can be a rather decent cuddle partner to say the least.
